WASHINGTON — After more than a decade dominating MTV’s lineup, "Ridiculousness" is coming to an end. The network canceled the long-running viral video clip show after 14 years, with its final first-run episodes set to air through 2026.
The viral video clip show, hosted by Rob Dyrdek, Steelo Brim and Lauren “Lolo” Wood, will not produce any new episodes moving forward, according to Variety . The show’s current season began airing Oct. 12. The previously filmed installments will continue to air through 2026, and reruns will remain on MTV and Paramount+.
The cancelation follows the Paramount and Skydance merger, and comes as MTV aims to curate a “more curated slate of content” that embraces “different creative voices,” a source told Variety.
