LaMont Jones wants to clean your shoes, caps and anything else that cannot be put in a washing machine.

But also, he wants to show you how.

On the court, runway, streets and everywhere in between, sneakers and athletic shoes are trending with Generation Z for all occasions. Coach, Dior, Gucci and dozens of other luxury brands have sneakers on the market, topping more than $1,000 per pair. This, Jones says, is why customers from across the country will pay to have them cleaned and repaired, sometimes even more than once a month.

“Clean shoes is a lifestyle,” said Jones, who has the phrase stuck on a decal on a wall in the lab.
