Lisa Ling is one of the CBS News personalities that have been cut from the network amid the massive layoffs at Paramount following its acquisitionn by Skydance.

The former The View co-host took to social media to share the news that she was laid off although she said some of her reports will appear “in the coming weeks.”

“So yesterday, I got a call from CBS that I was among the massive layoffs at the network,” Ling said in a video post on Instagram . “Now this didn’t entirely surprise me, because I wasn’t a full-time employee, but rather a contributor, and we’re easy to cut.”

She continued, My heart, though, goes out to all of those who had been working at the network for many, many years.”
