Passengers are being urged to check their journeys ahead of major railway upgrades in Coventry . Work will be carried out over Saturday and Sunday.
Teams from Network Rail will be replacing tracks, improving drainage, and upgrading the devices that allow trains to switch tracks at junctions. Upgrades will keep the railway safe for thousands of passengers and freight trains carrying essential goods.
Trains will not be calling at Coventry or Birmingham International on Saturday (November 1) and Sunday (November 2). Buses will be operating instead.
Travellers are urged to plan ahead this weekend. Once the improvements are completed, Network Rail said they will help provide more reliable journeys.
