The spate of break-ins at athletes’ homes appears to have continued.
A house belonging to Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was broken into during the team’s Thursday game at home, ABC News confirmed with police on Friday.
ABC News said police were called to investigate a burglary, using a helicopter and dogs at a home in Nichols Hills, Okla., on Thursday at about 7:45 p.m. When police arrived, the house was empty and nobody was home.
The Thunder and Gilgeous-Alexander beat the Washington Wizards 127-108 at the Paycom Center on Thursday.
NFL players such as Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow have previously been targeted in such break-ins.
Gilgeous-Alexander, the 27-year-old from Hamilton, Ont., is the NBA’s reigning MVP and Finals MVP.
