KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in a recent series of break-ins at a business on Portage Street.

During the break-ins, several thousand dollars' worth of merchandise was stolen, including crossbows and related supplies, according to police.

The business gathered surveillance footage of the suspect, showing a man of average height and build, with short brown hair.

Police said the suspect is frequently seen wearing a sweater or jacket, along with a face mask and gloves.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said its investigation is still in its early stages, but asked that anyone who can identify the suspect or has information about the stolen property's whereabouts contact detectives.
