MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA /Gray News) - Authorities in Alabama say a man has been arrested and charged with stealing several packages in the area.
According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office , Todd Bond is charged with first-degree theft of property and was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail Friday morning.
“Well, your packages are safe today,” the sheriff’s office shared regarding his arrest.
Authorities said Bond was taken into custody after patrol deputies spotted a black Ford Escape that was connected to reported package thefts traveling at a high speed around 1 a.m. Friday.
A traffic stop was initiated, and deputies stated that they found Bond traveling with several packages in his vehicle that matched the description of those reported stolen.
