AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Wellstar’s Children’s Hospital of Georgia brought Halloween festivities to young patients on Halloween who couldn’t go door-to-door trick-or-treating.
Staff and local organizations dressed in costumes and gave away candy at Halloween-themed booths throughout the hospital. The event aimed to ensure no child felt left out during the holiday.

Local artist Baruti Tucker and Augusta leaders cut the ribbon on the new piece.
About six or seven children participated in the trick-or-treat route, while volunteers helped bed-bound patients who couldn’t participate directly.
