A petition to establish a second community improvement district in and around the proposed Prospect Village development area to collect sales tax will be discussed during a public hearing Monday night at a meeting of the Joplin City Council.
Called the Woodsonia Marketplace Community Improvement District, it would collect sales tax from businesses on about 388 acres that extend beyond the boundaries of the future development. ×
