NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) -- Big weekend plans are in store for the candidates for New Jersey Governor, who are hoping to secure as many final votes as they can.
"Both campaigns are putting on the gas here at the end," said Rider University political professor Micah Rasmussen.
He says 1 million New Jerseyans have already voted early in-person or by mail, with Democratic voters holding an edge. "Both candidates are very much in the hunt. There's no question about that. But in the sense of those early votes, in the sense of the polls, I think there's still a perception that Jack [Ciattarelli] has more ground to make up."
