COUNTRY CLUB, The Bronx (WABC) -- Strong winds wreaked havoc all around the Tri-State area on Friday.
Several trees and power lines came down in several locations.
Trick-or-treaters dodged downed trees and cars slowed to avoid trees jutting into the road in Clinton Hill.
Crews cleared some of Clinton Avenue but parents were hoping for a less hazardous Halloween night.
"People are going to maybe get hurt or trip over tree branches," one parent said.
Trees were still toppling over a day after the strong strom Thursday.
A tree and wires came down onto a vehicle in the Bronx on Friday demolishing a car.
It happened at Stadium and Watt avenues in the Country Club section.
