Ocala businessman Danny Gaekwad has paid $7 million for 21 acres off State Road 200 just west of Interstate 75.

What will he do with the vacant land? He told the Star-Banner he doesn't know. In fact, he's open to suggestions.

The main parcel, measuring 12.3 acres, is the site of the former Camper Village of America RV park. The land is next to Sam's Club and AdventHealth's medical facilities, near the intersection of SR 200 and Southwest 43rd Street Road.
