WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Two different federal judges ruled Friday after that SNAP, the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, must be funded.
SNAP payments have stalled and currently won’t go out on Saturday, November 1 st , due to the federal government shutdown.
The judges; rulings came down moments apart, that the trump administration should continue to fund SNAP.

The White House insists that it cannot do that unless the federal government is reopened. However, the U-S-D-A does have an emergency fund - created to fund programs like SNAP.
The judges say those funds must be disbursed.
