SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - White Bluff Elementary has announced it will begin Random Administrative Inspections for all grade levels, according to a letter sent home to parents on October 30, 2025.

“Inspections will be conducted at random to identify and prevent any item that is not approved to be on school grounds from entering our campus,” the letter, signed by Robert Lewis, III, principal of White Bluff Elementary School, reads.

“The inspections may use a hand-held or walk through metal or weapons detector and/or the searching of a student’s bag(s).”

Principal Lewis says in the past these sorts of inspections were only suggested, not required, for elementary grade levels.
