A winter-themed movie series will take over Los Angeles’ Heritage Square Museum and offer outdoor screenings of holiday classics surrounded by Victorian homes, simulated snowfall and seasonal drinks.

Starting Saturday, Nov. 29, the annual Yuletide Cinemaland features themed double features like "Elf" and "A Christmas Story," "The Santa Clause" and "Home Alone," plus anniversary screenings of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

Screenings take place on the grounds of Heritage Square Museum, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the first film starting around 6:30 p.m. A second showing begins between 8:15 and 9 p.m., organizers said.
