The NFL announced a punishment on the Baltimore Ravens over their handling of Lamar Jackson’s injury status last week, and fans are furious with it.
Last Friday, the Ravens made headlines when they listed Lamar Jackson as a “full participant” in practice before their Week 8 home game against the Chicago Bears. The next day, however, the Ravens changed to his status to “limited” and ruled the two-time MVP out.
Veteran backup Tyler Huntley started the Ravens’ must-win home game and led them to a 30-16 victory over the surging Bears. After missing three games, Jackson returned on Thursday night and led the Ravens to a 28-6 blowout win over the Miami Dolphins.
