JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL)- Dianne Flett will tell you she never looked back after joining the Air Force.

"I was kind of lost. I didn't know what I wanted to do. I was changing my [college] major a couple of times. My mom and dad actually talked to me about it and asked if I wanted to consider [the military]," she said. "And instead of continuing with the college education, I joined the Air Force. And it was the best decision I ever made."

Those six years laid a foundation for her success decades later.
