Srinagar, Oct 31: Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vidhi Kumar Birdi, SSP Srinagar Dr Sandeep and 19 cops has been named among the recipients of the prestigious ‘Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak’ 2025, announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday.

A total of 1,466 personnel from various police and security organisations across the country have been selected for the award, which recognises exceptional service, professional excellence, and dedication to duty.

Among the awardees are CRPF’s Special Director General Vitul Kumar and J&K Police’s IG Vidhi Kumar Birdi, honoured for their exemplary performance in the field of policing and operations.
