A concert in OKC by a controversial rapper pardoned of his crimes by President Donald Trump has the Oklahoma County jail beefing up weekend staff and bracing for an influx of arrestees − a move that the top jailer called "proactive" and jail trustee Rev. Derrick Scobey called "overt," as in overt racism.
Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, 26, performs under the stage name YoungBoy Never Broke Again or NBA YoungBoy. The rapper is set to perform at the Paycom Center downtown, home of the OKC Thunder, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.
