ALDI have issued a warning for customers to claim a full refund as one of their popular items has been recalled due to a nut allergy warning.
Any shoppers who have purchased ALDI Dairyfine Crispy Choc Um’s have been encouraged to return the product to their nearest store and to claim a full refund.
The recall comes as the product may contain peanuts. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
Issuing a allergy alert for the product, the Food Standards Authority (FSA) has outlined the company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
