The Seahawks are getting a big part of their defense back for Sunday night's game in Washington.
Cornerback Devon Witherspoon, a two-time Pro Bowler, is set to return from a knee injury that has kept him out of five of the last six games.
"I'm excited to be back playing football," Witherspoon said after Friday's practice. "It's been a long time, so I'm just happy to be able to be back playing football."
Witherspoon initially injured his knee colliding with a teammate late in Seattle's season opener, though he was still able to finish that game. He missed the next two games, then returned for Seattle's Thursday night win in Arizona, but then had to miss the next three games.
"It's been tough, but we've got great guys around here, so they keep each other up, they keep me up," Witherspoon
