DALLAS — If you know Nate Sheets already, it’s likely because he created Nature Nate’s Honey , which he started in his backyard with one beehive.
Now, Nate Sheets wants you to know him as a Republican candidate for Texas Agriculture Commissioner . On Nov. 13, he officially threw his hat in the ring.
“Texans are ready for change,” Sheets said. “We can grow better food, grow food better, and rebuild the strength of our farms and families—but only with leadership that puts Texans first. That’s why I’m running. It’s time to Make Agriculture Healthy Again.”
And as he campaigns across the state, he’s hearing a common theme from farmers.
“They want to know how they can survive, what we can do to help them financially be able to continue into the future,” Sheets told us on Inside Texas Po
