LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Nebraska man was sentenced to over a century behind bars for sexually assaulting several different girls over the past two decades in Lincoln.
Jesse Widick, 45, was convicted of a slew of charges, including first-degree sexual assault of a child, intentional child abuse resulting in no injury, tampering with a witness and more.
Widick was sentenced to 108-166 years in prison with 523 days credit for time served. If he is ever released, he would have to register as a sex offender and undergo a lifetime of parole.
On Nov. 16, 2021, a 15-year-old girl participated in a forensic interview at BraveBe Child Advocacy Center. The arrest affidavit states she said that Widick had been sexually abusing her since she was around 7 years old, and oftentimes he would bribe her
