AUBURNDALE, Fla. (WFLA) — The City of Auburndale has fired its city manager.
City Commission members voted Friday to terminate Jeffrey Tillman's contract and offer him a severance package.
Tillman was charged in May as the result of an incident at the Brack Shack Bar & Grill in Auburndale.
According to a police report, Tillman allegedly hugged and kissed an 18-year-old waitress against her will at the bar. The incident allegedly happened in December, but the waitress waited to tell police.
She told investigators she noticed Tillman appeared to be intoxicated in the bar and she walked over to offer him bread, or something else to eat to counter the affects of the alcohol.
