The home of Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was burglarized Thursday night while he and his team were competing, according to police .
The break-in occurred around 7:45 p.m. local time in the Nichols Hills suburb of Oklahoma City, and police said the suspects fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
The reigning MVP was playing at Paycom Center against the Wizards, leading the Thunder to their sixth straight win to start the season. Authorities discovered the burglary while the game was still in progress.
