LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Our next chance of showers comes Saturday, then it’s back to nice and dry weather behind yet another cold front!
For those with outdoor plans, there is no need to cancel Saturday as this will not be a washout, though some passing showers will be around late in the afternoon and evening Saturday. The higher chances of rain should take place near and south of I-10. Cloud cover will also build in to keep highs near the 70-degree mark, and some of our northern communities may not get out of the upper 60’s.
Overnight lows will continue to be on the cooler side with lows in the upper 40’s Saturday and Sunday morning. Speaking of, don’t forget to turn back the clocks Sunday morning as Daylight Savings Time ends. Then that front arrives Sunday, so we turn even cooler!
