EUGENE, Ore. – A two-vehicle crash that involved a Lane County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle on Friday afternoon is currently under investigation by the Oregon State Police, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO officials said the crash happened at about 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 31 on River Road at Maxwell Road. An LCSO sheriff’s deputy driving a patrol vehicle was involved in a crash with another vehicle, authorities said.
Sheriff’s officials said that the deputy and the other vehicle’s driver were both transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
