GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced Friday that it has waived forward Jairus Hamilton and centers Olisa Akonobi and DJ Burns.

Hamilton joined the team through local tryouts, Akonobi was selected with the No. 23 pick in the NBA G League Draft, and Burns was added from the undrafted player pool, the team announced.

With the moves, the Swarm’s roster now stands at 14 players, including two-way signees KJ Simpson, Drew Peterson and Antonio Reeves.
