FOXBOROUGH - Mike Vrabel has changed up quite a few things that were reminiscent of the team’s championship past.
For example, instead of coming out as a team during the opening introductions, Vrabel has broken tradition, and had the players from one side of the ball individually introduced.
The post-game locker room breakup is also different.
He’s done his best to have this team create its own identity, as opposed to carrying on the traditions of the past.
Asked Friday if there was a burden of trying to live up to the past, and if he was trying to break free of that, Vrabel served up a hot potato.
“I don’t know what the burden is,” Vrabel said. “They’ve won eight games in two years. So, none of that matters. Whether it was the Super Bowl, or a not very good year, it doesn’t matte
