Former President Barack Obama is not as confident that the United States can withstand President Donald Trump , CNN exclusively reported Friday.
According to friends who talk to the former president and spoke to CNN , Obama and his aides are reconsidering his strategy of remaining out of the public eye, which was intended to allow the next generation of Democrats to take charge.
“The harm is so profound that this calls for both a different approach generally, and a different involvement specifically by President Obama,” Eric Holder, a former attorney general and longtime friend of his, told CNN.
