CINCINNATI —
Deandre Shannon, a former medical transporter, has been arrested and charged in a murder case, with prosecutors labeling him a serious risk to public safety and a judge setting his bond at $3 million.
Shannon is accused of driving the shooter who killed Bennie Byrd in Springfield Township in September 2024. Advertisement
Prosecutor David Higgenlooper said, "It is apparent he is a serious risk to public safety." Shannon's defense attorney, Dan Mike, said, "Your honor, Mr. Shannon denies the allegations. He is alleged to have driven the shooter to a location, which he denies the allegation."
This is not the first time Shannon has faced such accusations. In 2019, he served time for driving another shooter in a murder case where Brenden Phillips was shot to death in North Sid
