A mild, but breezy Halloween evening across New Mexico. Temperatures cool off slightly Saturday, but warmer weather will move back in starting Sunday.

Winds have picked up slightly Friday afternoon across New Mexico as the jet stream dips down over the state. This has brought a few wind gusts up to 30 mph today and cloudier skies. It has also sent in a Pacific cold front from the west, starting to cool the weather off in western New Mexico. A backdoor cold front is also creeping in to northern New Mexico this evening. It will be a mild evening for Trick-or-Treaters as the winds will die down after sunset and temperatures will cool down quickly.
