The Dancing with the Stars contestant shares that she has started giving a lot more thought to what she feels comfortable sharing with the world via social media platforms. There are some thing she would prefer to reveal through her music.

Speaking to People , Lauren shared insight into her new single “Ego,” which is the first new song off of her upcoming album.

“I think my long-time fans know me, and I feel like this just is the next chapter of me — what I’ve been internally moving through especially,” the singer said. “I feel like I’ve been AWOL on socials, to be honest. I went through a dark night of the soul, and that’s a very jarring experience that makes being perceived, especially misconstrued
