Uof T students are involved in more than one kind of competition tonight.

An unprecedented “spooky” scavenger hunt with over 62 participants in their Halloween costumes will be running around U of T’s campus, at the same time as Game 6 of the World Series begins.

Jocelyne Murphy and Chris Oka, founders of Wygo, a software company that helps organize community events, said they didn’t realize there was going to be a conflict with the playoffs but are confident it won’t interfere with the watch party.

Oka says there’s going to be several winners from their costume competition, who will hopefully celebrate alongside the Jays tonight.

“We’re hoping for two big wins tonight,” Murphy said. “We’re hoping it adds to the energy.”
