Strong winds , occasionally gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph, are expected to linger through Friday night. As a result, wind advisories remain active in all 21 of New Jersey’s counties up until midnight.
In addition to the gusty winds, it will be a chilly night, with temperatures dropping into the 40s.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service say the strongest winds are expected in the late afternoon and early evening, with sustained values near 30 mph and gusts reaching 45 mph, particularly in coastal areas.
