BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) -- The Pepitone family, who has filed a lawsuit against former Beaufort County deputy William Squires, and neighbor Brian Stahlheber, has retained attorney Jared Newman.

Squires and Stahlheber were arrested and charged by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) on Tuesday, Oct. 28th.

Newman spoke exclusively to WSAV News 3 about the lawsuit and what the family went through on Sunday, Sept. 28th, when video footage recorded by the teens showed Squires drawing and pointing his weapon at the group of boys.
