The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is investigating a suspicious death in Concord after the body of a woman was found Friday near a tent site, officials said.
Concord Police were notified Friday morning when the body of a dead adult female was found outside a tent site in a wooded area off Manchester Street in Concord near the Pembroke town line, according to a Friday news release.
Officials said an autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the woman’s cause and manner of death. The woman’s identity is not being released until next of kin have been notified, the Attorney General’s Office said.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available “without impacting the integrity of the investigation , ” the release said.
