MACON, Ga. — A 21-year-old college student is being held without bond in the Bibb County Jail after her arrest in connection with a triple homicide that rattled an East Macon neighborhood and left investigators canvassing the area for more suspects.

Rekeymia Henley faced a magistrate judge Tuesday afternoon, five days after authorities issued a warrant for her arrest.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Henley turned herself in at the jail Monday night. She faces three counts of felony murder in the Oct. 18 shooting deaths of 16-year-old Markell Bonner Jr., 21-year-old Brandon Thomas and 27-year-old Quantayrias Townsend. Henley is also charged with aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
