The City of Fort Saskatchewan and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 27 have partnered to honour local veterans through the installation of new Memorial Banners.

The banners begin on 101 Street and 94 Avenue, with a total of 14 banners and 28 veterans set to be installed by the first week of November.

This project means a great deal to our membership and to the veteran community as a whole,” said Todd Arsenault, President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 27. “Each banner represents a story of courage and dedication to service. Some of the stories are well known in our community, while others are new to residents of Fort Saskatchewan seeing the banners on display for the first time. We are honoured to work with the City to share these legacies and make this display possible.”
