DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating after a shooting at a gas station left a man dead, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.

The incident occurred on Friday at around 9:24 p.m. at 5005 Snapfinger Woods Drive.

Preliminary investigation suggests the victim, 27-year-old Quintin Lamar Lewis Jr. , was in a gunfight with others at the gas pumps, police said.

Investigators are interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence at the scene to determine a suspect and a possible motive.

Police have not identified a suspect.
