EAST ELMHURST, Queens (WABC) -- Two United Airlines flights made contact on the taxiway on Friday night at LaGuardia Airport.

On Friday evening, United flight 580 was turning into its arrival gate when it made contact with the tail of United flight 434, which was stationary on the taxiway.

Both planes returned to the gate and passengers deplaned normally.

No injuries were reported.
