CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - A dispute over romance and paying a bill escalated to an aggravated robbery at The Haunted House Restaurant in Cleveland Heights.
Police are now searching for the man who allegedly flashed a gun not once, but twice, to workers following a dinner on the evening of Oct. 22.
It all started with a birthday dinner, according to a Cleveland Heights police report, and ended with the diners skipping out on a $79.99 bill.
A witness told police the incident began when a man was eating with a woman and their daughter, when they were approached by a staff member dressed as Michael Myers hit his play knife on the table, which angered the male suspect, according to a police report.
