Gibraltar Carlson, Bedford, Jefferson, Ida and St. Mary Catholic Central are moving on in the state football playoffs.

Carlson and Bedford will play each other after both rolled to impressive Division 2 victories on Friday, Oct. 31.

Jefferson beat Flat Rock for the second time this season in Division 5.

Ida overpowered Dearborn Heights Robichaud in Division 6.

The SMCC defense thwarted a spread offense in Division 7, but missed an opportunity to play Whiteford for the first time in school history when the Bobcats fell to Clinton.
