BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- They call it Hall-o-Weekend for a reason.
There’s too much fun to be had to confine Halloween to just the evening of Oct. 31. One example -- the KGET Safe Halloween event Thursday night at the Kern County Museum.
Kids and adults alike hit the streets of the museum’s Pioneer Village to celebrate the spookiness, gobble candy and impress us with their costumery.
One of our favorite moments was the scene created by KGET Assistant News Director Erica Torres, who ran screaming, as if inexplicably terrorized, from a perfectly friendly, if ghoulishly attired gentleman.
Weekend anchor, Gabriela Rosales, then nonchalantly jumped in for a selfie.
