DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)-- The first night of the 'National Peanut Festival' went off absolutely great with temperatures peaking in the 60s. With that being said, a cool night is ahead of us, and there is little rain in the forecast.
Expect lows to be in the 40s and upper 30s across the Tri-state region tonight with nice and clear skies. We will eventually see a slow warm-up with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s for our Saturday afternoon.
Rain chances will only reach about 20-30% over the next 7 days, so expect drought conditions to continue and/or worsen. As always, stay safe, stay weather aware, and for more information, watch us on WDHN.
