A jury found a Jacksonville woman guilty of manslaughter on Friday in the murder trial of Charles Jones, a Jacksonville rapper known as “Julio Foolio."
The jury reached its verdict after nearly four hours of deliberation. The jury also found Alicia Andrews, 21, not guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.
Andrews’ sentencing will be Dec. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
Andrews is the first of five people accused in the shooting to go to trial. She is the only defendant not facing the death penalty in the case.
Jones, 26, was shot and killed on June 23, 2024, in an ambush attack while celebrating his birthday in Tampa.
