EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The Diocese of El Paso will host the 28th annual Border Mass to "pray for migrants that have lost their lives attempting to migrate into the U.S."
The mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, near the border fence by the old Fort Bliss Historical Marker. The entrance of the mass will be at 1828-1844 West Paisano Dr.
According to the news release by the diocese, this mass brings together communities from El Paso, Ciudad Juárez and Las Cruces to "pray for the migrants that have lost their lives attempting to migrate into the United States at the southern border and the continued prayers of the Catholic faithful for the continuing needs of the migrant from South and Central America."
The Border Mass was established in 1997.
