WRIGHTSVILLE — A little more than our minutes and a 19-play drive determined the outcome of Friday night’s District 3 Class 4A first round football game between Middletown and Eastern York.
Middletown, nursing a two-point lead, had the Golden Eagles pinned back at their own 15. But Eastern York matriculated the ball down the field, converting two fourth downs along the way, and reached the Middletown 24 with 52 seconds to play.
