MEADOW BRIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – In one of the highest-scoring games of the season, the No. 9 Meadow Bridge Wildcats came up short Friday night, falling 64–52 to the Class AA Buffalo Bison at home.
Both offenses exploded from the start, trading touchdowns throughout the night in a back-and-forth battle that kept fans on their feet.
Despite a strong offensive showing, the Wildcats couldn’t keep pace with Buffalo’s relentless scoring attack in the final quarter.
With the loss, Meadow Bridge drops to 7–2 on the season but remains firmly in the Class A playoff hunt. The Wildcats will close out their regular season next Friday night at home against Craig County, Virginia.
Buffalo improves to 7–2 with the victory, adding another impressive win to its postseason résumé.
