AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Halloween night was full of excitement across Richmond and Columbia Counties as kids dressed up in costumes and went door-to-door collecting candy. From superheroes to princesses, families filled neighborhoods, celebrating the spooky season together.
“Free candy!” one trick-or-treater said with a smile.
“We’re excited to see all of the decorations and just have a good time,” another added.
For many giving out candy, the night was about more than costumes and sweets.
“The fun part about it is seeing the kids and the smiles on their faces and just the joy that it brings to be doing something good,” said Jacqueline Bettis.
